Dr. Gregg Tyler Milligan is one of the most thought-provoking writers of the 21st century, influencing a much-needed revolution against abuse of {any} kind.  A pioneer nationally and internationally, Milligan is among the first to incorporate a new model approach of Education + Compassion = Wisdom in his writing style, expanding the reader’s view with a wellspring of solutions centered on humanity and sustainability.  His works apply across countless industries, beckoning the rise of empathy - a distinctly global philosophy for a better future.

Milligan holds multiple degrees; with six books in print, his works continue to reach readers since publishing A Beautiful World in 2009 (translated into the Thai language as of August 2015.)  He donates all proceeds from his books to educational and social welfare causes.

Along with many pro bono lectures and workshops delivered in the United States at venues such as California State University, the University of Michigan, the Annual Protecting Families Spring Conference, and the Annual Children’s Day Conference, Milligan has also been a guest lecturer at Thammasat University, Bangkok and Mahasarakham University, Maha Sarakham City, Isaan, and volunteered with The Mirror Foundation, Rangsit. His work has received international attention across print and televised media, including appearances on affiliates of all US major networks and personal interviews on The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Ricki Lake Show.  In 2015, he was recognized by the State of Michigan with a Special Tribute from Governor Rick Snyder for his work.  In 2016, he received an honorary doctorate from Siena Heights University.  In 2017, Dr. Milligan was inducted into a Thai Chivalric Order and awarded several Thai Royal Honors.

Milligan’s first two works chronicle his life in overcoming a childhood of abuse, homelessness and hunger to later earn a scholarship and graduate from college; captured in a volume set entitled God Must Be Sleeping.  Milligan takes readers even further in his third book, written as a literal Survivor’s Guide, Landscapes of the Heart

Milligan’s fourth book A Brief History in Thailand: A Collection of Journals 2009-2014, delves into the beauty found within ourselves and the world, uncovered in Milligan’s journeys and friendships forged across the Great Kingdom, which resound the incredible bond that is shared by us all.

Milligan’s latest work, The Keepers, released in 2020, can be summed up in a quote directly from its own pages:

The Keepers shows the tying together of all good souls to repair the devastating holes created by abuse and the power of true understanding.  Of how to get there no matter your starting point with a grand and welcoming “Come Along” cheer that brings everyone in and everyone home.  No one is too bad or lost to be found. It could possibly represent to the world the best part of hope needed to just hang on.  Like the best friendliest and happiest map you could ever find because you know it’s real; it shows you where all the pitfalls and traps are, and also where the magnificent treasures are along the way.  And you can “Come Along” either by inspiration or desperation, but please still come along.
